Long-term care funding guide

How do CareShield Life payouts work?

From 2026, monthly payouts for successful new claims follow the enhanced schedule through 2030; a member's amount freezes at age 67 or successful claim, whichever happens first.Calculate a CareShield care shortfall

Monthly payouts from 2026 to 2030

CPF Board publishes monthly amounts for successful new claims of S$689 in 2026, S$717 in 2027, S$745 in 2028, S$775 in 2029 and S$806 in 2030. The 2025 review accepted by MOH raises annual payout growth to 4% over this period.

Why birth year can change the result

CareShield Life payout growth stops when a member reaches age 67 or makes a successful claim, whichever is earlier. An older cohort making a new claim in 2026–2030 may therefore use an amount frozen in an earlier year. The calculator shows the table year applied instead of assigning the 2030 amount to everyone.

What the tool will not ask for

  • Health conditions, diagnoses or an ADL assessment
  • Claim documents or insurer information
  • Supplement, premium or product choices

The result is only a financial scenario. Coverage status, eligibility and claim decisions must be confirmed against current official CPF Board and MOH information.
