What changed
LTA reduced every PARF percentage for eligible cars in years one to ten and halved the cap for the new registration regime.
Previous
For the preceding regime: 75%, 70%, 65%, 60%, 55% and 50% of ARF paid across the six age bands, capped at S$60,000.New rule
For the revised regime: 30%, 25%, 20%, 15%, 10% and 5% of ARF paid across the same age bands, capped at S$30,000.Effect on calculations
Connected car calculators require the user to confirm the applicable PARF regime, then apply the matching percentages and cap when estimating paper value and depreciation.
Limitations
The applicable regime depends on the COE exercise or the non-COE registration rule—not an estimated purchase date. Vehicle eligibility, ARF paid and official registration records control.
